I'll probably get lynched for this, but I took my old 147 there for a cambelt change a couple of years back and the service was terrible. After being convinced by Ned that they'd only change the water pump after checking if it was necessary, the car came back with a horrible wining pump. I complained and took it back and they agreed to change the pump just for the parts cost, I then picked the car up with the engine management light on. Taking it back another 5-6 times, their 'solution' was to reset the ECU fault codes and give some waffle about having the battery off. I gave up and fixed it myself with a copy of Alfadiag and some common sense.....(one of the lambda sensor cables had been damaged during the work). Needless to say I wont be taking any car of mine to them again.

I always used Auto Lusso for servicing on my 156 (haven't had my 147 long enough to have it down the garage yet) and was very pleased with them. Good service, well priced ;) and always had some courtesy car or other available. It must speak volumes that I travelled to Dunstable from Uxbridge/Weybridge to use them - I like to stick with someone who is a known quantity so am prepared for a bit of inconvenience to do so.

First got involved with them when the diff blew up on my V6 and at the time they were the place to go for a Q2. Granted my engine did come back running on 5 cylinders after it was steam cleaned, but Ned came and fixed it in Tesco's car park after Auto Italia in Brooklands so it wasn't all bad!

I always take my GTA there for servicing, they know Alfa's inside out and offer a very honest and reasonably priced service.

I was recently quoted £425 for my Abarth service for an 18k service. AutoLusso did the same service with all the Abarth approved parts/lubes etc for just under £200 and it drives like a dream.

People do travel from all-over and I can really understand why.......

Well, I find Ned very honest, not stroppy! He is under pressure most of the time by the likes of us Alfisti wanting a perfect job doing and being very fussy, but in my experience of some 5 years of using AutoLusso, they get it spot on every time and are extremely knowledgeable about everything Alfa!

Their prices are very reasonable and they did a fab job on my Abarth too.

Incidentally, I bought your GTA from Ned, Jimmy, and it drove like new from the moment I bought it. It's been to Italy three times, once on a days track session at Monza and has never skipped a beat in nearly 3 years and I won't part with it!
