Dear Member
Following our summer recess, I’m sure most of you are very enthusiastic about having a drive, now that temperatures will eventually be creeping down again (hopefully).
Our next drive will be held on Saturday 6 September 2003. We will meet at Luxol Ground St Andrews at 5.00pm and depart for Rabat and Buskett at 5.30pm. Our final destination will be the Buskett Roadhouse where we will stop for a drink and chat. Ample private parking is available.
We urge everybody to attend and to hang around for a while on arrival at the Roadhouse. We really need to have a good chat together in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Feedback from you, the members, is very important for the growth and development of the club.
In order not to have a repetition of what happened during the last drive, when we got split into two groups and followed different routes, everyone is urged to make sure that he understands the route set out below, just in case someone gets separated from the other cars.
On leaving Luxol Ground, we will turn right and drive up the coast road, Burmarrad, and the new road to Mosta, turn right in Targa gap and up to Saqqajja and Buskett. Here we will turn left at the junction to Buskett centre and left again into the Roadhouse carpark.
Everyone is urged to attend. See you all Saturday 6 September.
