27%. I pay no attention to credits at the best of times. I did know I knew the motorbike...and I think I probably got the author right, the rest was pure poor guesswork.

I'm off to see a clip of the motorbike scene if I can find one?

Only Trumpfs' Steve' had were later Bonnies' for recreational use, so maybe one of his personal possessions? :confused:

Well that's solved that then? I was joking about it being a flat head SV Norton of course? :lol:

So yes it was vertical twin Trumpf' but with teles' and swinging arm?:confused:

Now why didn't they use a DKW, Horex, or a Bimmer' to make it more authentic for those purist bikers? :lol:

I thought it was a Triumph - but you would have thought, since it was filmed in Germany (not Switzerland, Steve :doh:) that they could have found an authentic Jerrybike. I wonder if McQueen, as doing many stunts himself, insisted on using a bike he knew well?
