Hi All,

I found this on ebay, got to get mine done........ my mechanic (I've used him for years, and he is top drawer) is happy to buy my own parts.......

........ question, are these gonna be any good or should I just avoid it ????

Thoughts Please

Cheers to All

That is a contitech belt kit, Made by continental.

They are excellent. I fitted one like it to my 156 TS.

The tensioners are identical to the original Alfa ones. (revised later metal BTW)

The one shown is just for the cambelt anyway, the balance shaft one is listed as a seperate part.

These are the ones you need, buypartsby are cheaper than that too.

The first one is the cambelt + tensioners, the second link for the balance belt and its tensioner.

They used to show images of the tensioners to make things clearer, but for some reason they have stopped doing that.

Simon...........

I found the GTV kit on their site............ but they list two engine types for the JT ........ so I need to check the plate on the car.

Thanks again

You need both the CT970K1 and the CT877K2, as one is the balance shaft kit, the other the cambelt kit.

They were the only 2 I could see listed for the JTS :)
