On my way to work today i was carrying a thermometer in the car by coincidence. Car was showing outside temperature was 35 degrees, i had the climate control on 15 degrees (lowest it can go) and the thermometer which was in the car was showing me 38 degrees

If it was the spider and the lid was down, your AC was trying to cool down all of Europe. :)

More seriously, if it was that hot in the car, your AC isn't doing much. Regas?

Thermometers are quite slow to react to temp changes. Also the inside of your car feels colder than it actually is because the a/c is circulating cold air. Switch it off and the car feels hot again in a flash..
