Pomeos aircon fan stopped a long long time ago just like a fairy tale.

I sussed out how to get the diverters in a position to direct hot or cold air , more often hot than cold, out the dash vents.Once in the desired direction I switch aircon off and the air still flows.

I thought that this was correct and
was pleased.

Now Laceys aircon fan has ceased.

Tried to work it as Pomeos BUT NO>

When warning comes up the air flow ceases...If I turn off before the warning..the air flow stops.

2 cars and not the same....Possible 2 different faults
But you'd think the basic operation would be the same.

Can any non working fan 166ers tell me how their air flow operates.

So thats why haynes never wrote a manual for Alfa romeo!

Does your car have windows? They could be useful! :D
Possibly Stu..probably.

Yes both have windows which still work no problem at all.Yes they are useful .when down in this weather they let the cold in BUT it increases the flow of hot air thro the vents.
I reckon if I remove the pollen filter that wil also increse the flow....But was it Mad Mike's Bug that was caught in the filter.Hmmm.Need to contemplate.:cheese:
