The 2l V6 turbo in the 166 is an intersting mix of 12V and 24V bits. Get yourself a copy of E-Learn for the car - it covers the 12V 2l V6 turbo although the info is a bit limited.

Special tools - you'll probably want the tool for holding the crank pulley still while you get that bloody nut on & off, but the good news is that the cams don't need locks (same as the old 12V) as the pulleys are keyed to the cams, and there are timing marks on the cams and cam bernig caps. Bad news is you can't use the old 164 pattern timing template though. You might also want to treat yourself to the tensioner setting tool as it makes life a bit simpler. And a TDC gauge too, although given the cams are keyed, using the cast in marks on teh crank pulley is usually good enough as a 1 tooth error is obvious.

TBH, the other special tool you want is a 5mm drill bit and a new nut for the crank - just drill and split the old one off......

Don't forget, change the waterpump, tensioner and any aux belt tensioner/idlers while you are in there.

It looks like it'll be pretty much as easy as doing a 12V motor. Result!!
