Today my efforts with the Chipex finally caught up with the stone chips - counted 137 white spots when I started in Feb, and estimated 50 new ones by Monday this week - so celebrated that and the possible arrival of Spring with the 3rd wash this week, finished with Autoglym Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss Protection. Also some Alloy Wheel Protector and the usual Glass Cleaner over the windscreen (the auto-wipers go crazy if that last step is missed).
Suggestions on preventing stone chips on the soft Alfa Red paint would be much appreciated. I don't drive close behind anything. Is there a plastic film you can put over the most vulnerable part of the front bumper?
The first photo isn't today: it's from February to show where I started.
