Here are all the winners for 2020 from the Hall Of Fame

Please vote to pick an overall winner to decide the AO Detailing Car Of The Year 2020

Good luck to all (y)

PS Please don't encourage others to vote for your own car or anyone else's car, it's just a bit of fun but the entrants have taken the time to clean the cars & posts the pics etc ;)

Amfalconers beautiful Red 159 gets my vote....and I'd like to stress I'm not biased in any way!......although I'd like to say they metalgods Quad came a VERY close second as I know how much effort he puts into his paintwork.....and I want a Quad next!

The Brera looks stunning but I have to keep in mind it's the job not the car. The wheels on the GT and GTV look like they would be awful to clean and both are spotless. Narrowly the GT wins for me because the paint looks wet.

Oh man, im not a big detailing boffin, but all these cars look so damn good, every time i scroll through them i am blown away and think every car i see deserves the vote.

IF i may offer a small tip to the 159 and GT owners, get those calipers painted, having the rest of the car so utterly spotless and amazing and having faded calipers poking out behind the wheels is a bit of a let down. (if this isnt allowed here mods, feel free to delete this bit, i dont want to gripe or put anyone down, just constructive tips to make the cars even better and more amazing)

It's on my to-do list, just as soon as I can find some similar colour paint, everything I find is bright red

I think the paint quality plays a part in rendering. I always thought that 156 & GT cars had about the worst paint quality Alfas ever had. The orange peel makes getting razor sharp reflectivity difficult and it probably needs thinning the lacquer too much.

All are to a very high standard and a credit to their owners. Trying to make a call which isn't subjective is difficult because amlfalconer's 159 Ti and metalgod23's Giulia really do stand out. These guys really know how to take pictures which is another layer of difficulty.

This is hard to be fair but I'll vote amlfalconer's 159 Ti. Even on the 159, the paint wasn't that great so jaw dropping factor sways it but it is so close.

If there is a catagory for which one I'd like to take home, my biased opinion votes baxter2308's 156 GTA.

Maybe it's the photos but that first red 159 looks amazing...

Is it really that bad?! I have to confess, I haven't polished my own 156 once in the 6+ years of ownership

Will promise to do so this year as it sleeps in a garage now so I won't feel like I've wasted my time the moment it starts raining!!!

My old 147 had that 'orange peel' that this breed of Alfas seemed to be famous for. No paint fade or lacquer peel or anything but having had the 156 resprayed, it does look night and day when it's buffed up. Be interesting to see Maxiboy's in the summer with that new blue (y)

I'm not massively into detailing either or at least I wasn't prior to the purchase of my 156 GTA ! Alfas just do that to you for some reason and all these cars look fantastic, difficult to separate them. Bias on my side the 156GTA gets my vote however the Guilia is pure porn:love:. Stunning, well done all

An old photo of my long dead Phase 1 156. Can see how terrible that paint job is...
