Why my Alfie (147 Q2) should sometimes 'stutter' when moving up through the gears, he stutters after the gear change so don't think to do with gear box and also sometimes there's a grating noise. He sometimes stutters when cruising, but not very often. Some journeys are problem free, some are not.
