hi guys , i am looking for a drivers side rear brake caliper for my n reg 146 (boxer engine)
new ones are silly money

just wondered on the off chance if anyone was breaking a 146 or had a spare one lying around somewhere (long shot i know)

anyone? cheers , loz :)

Failing any response from anyone, try Brakes International or Bigg Red. Both companies offer refurbished exchange calipers for around £70-80 per side. You buy the new (refurbed) caliper and pay an additional surcharge (~£50 IIRC). You then get the surcharge money back after they've received your old caliper(s). Might be an option worth looking aat if you don't think £70-80 is too much to pay.

hi, thanks for the response, i am generally doing a bit of a brake overhaul on it at the moment and on the new discs i have it says alfa / fiat brava, don't suppose you would know if if the calipers from a brava would fit?
they could be a more likely find, cheers , loz :thumbs:

Yes they do fit. The brakes are the same as some versions of:
Alfa 155
Fiat Bravo/Brava, Coupe, Barchetta, Tipo, Punto, Tempra
Lancia Dedra and Delta II
Basically all the cars that use the Tipo platform
