Still closed. I was in Italy two weeks ago and it was closed then, I think it will be closed all year. Here's the link to check:

Alfa Romeo

I saw in AutoItalia that Fiat is opening their museum in Turin during August as part of the 150th celebrations, the public normally don't get access to this.

Cheers,

Nigel

Alfa museum - help needed!!

hi all.. I'm in italy right now and staying up in the italian lakes not too far from Milan. Can't access any alfa romeo web sites from my italian wifi for some reason. It would be great to take the Guilietta over to Arese for a visit but i can't get to any web sites that can confirm or deny whether it is open - and a three hour drive to find out is not really my cup of tea even if it is outside lane of the autostrada the whole way ;)

Anyone have any contact emails at alfa Uk or italy you can pm me directly so that I could check?
cheers + thanks in advance for any info...

The website states

"IMPORTANT
The Alfa Romeo Museum is closed until further notice for maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience"

The museum is located in Arese (MI), viale Alfa Romeo, at Centro Direzionale Alfa Romeo.

By car, take the SS 233 Milan-Varese highway or the Milano-Laghi Motorway A8-A9 - Arese exit.

For information: tel. +39 02 444 294 21; +39 02 444 293 22

The museum is closed indefinitely. There was a comment in one of the car mags this month from someone who works at Museo Storico that the refurbishment hasn't even started yet. Don't drive up there.

Cheers,

Nigel
