Does it really matter
Yes, the weather and climate are very different. We get nice, warm weather all year round, not hot and oppresive weather. :D

Water-melons are mainly consumed fresh as refreshing and thirst-quenching dessert. But they also have valuable healing and diet properties since they contain a number of vitamins and a wide assortment of mineral salts, pectins and other substances useful for humans.

Too much precipitation means the melon will have a full round body, but watery taste.

Too much temperature will result in a smaller fruit, denser texture and sweeter taste. But an excess will dry it and it'll shrivel up like a prune.

And so ends a lesson with Michael Fish...... ;)

It's always the same with water melons though......

The thought of a nice cool juicy one sounds great, but practically it's never that easy. Those shi**y pips really **** me off. Plus they're always so messy.....

Shame that cos I quite fancy one too. ;)

But...........am I wrong? (just trying to stick to the thread guys..... ;) )
