Alloy width? Size before needing spacers?

It depends on the wheel's offset as well.

My mates got 8" TD rims, offset is somewhere near 30 and he had to use spacers as his inside edge caught the pan arm. I've got 7.5" et35 and have about 5mm space to the pan arm.

I fitted 8J 18s ET40 225/40s without spacers to the rear & no problem...now running with 12mm spacers just for looks though.

I'll ask him exactly what ET he got to verify things, but I know i've only got 5mm ish space and thats deff ET35, but I'm 17s though

these are 17s, il have to find out the ET to definately make sure & see how they would run in alignment. Been investigating it tonight and im fairly sure theres a good chance it'll work - fingers crossed!

Just finished cleaning my centre consoles tonight, just doing them matt black & maybe put some di-noc around the dials...we will see! Il keep posting pictures as i go along.
Only 21 so you have to give me some credit for taking onboard a GTV at my age

Ended up forking out for 17 teles, probably best as it keeps the car looking genuine & original. Only thing is, what next??? :lol:
Would love a supersprint front pipe / exhaust manifold as my section pre-cat has had a repair... Though they are a little out of my reach at the minute @ £450 or whatever... Too much for too little i think
