Has anyone done home repairs on scuffs and marks on their alloys? I have a set of Ph2 alloys that have some small marks that I feel would home repair ok but I don't know how to ensure the colour is matched and I don't want to spray the whole wheel. There are many advertised on ebay and Halfords. Does that mean the silver is a generic colour? Cheers.

I think colour matching is quite difficult, I've previously filled and sprayed the whole wheel. Trying to match OEM from a spray can is also quite tough.

Ive sprayed many an alloy wheel and one colour that always looks good is Ford moondust silver.There are so many shades of silver it beggars belief.If your keen to match your existing colour go to a Mitchells or Autopaints paint supplier and ask them to get paint chips out to match your silver.At one time Autopaints shops could then make you up an aerosol to match.
