Since buying my GTA I have steadily been fixing its many maladies.

It's had new windscreen wiper motor,
Fixed climate control sensors,
Patched up undertray,
De-Rusted wheel arches, bonnet and front bumper,
Re-painted calipers all round with little brembo stickers,
De-stuck, sanded and sorted rear calipers inc. new discs and pads,
New front sidelights and numberplate lights in LED flavour,
New aftermarket stereo that sounds good inc. steering wheel control adaptation,
Fixed rewind mechanism on boot cover and dog guard thing,
New bulbs behind fuel guage,
Both keys refurbished

Nice one, nothing major then. What stereo did you go for, I keep thinking about replacing the standard unit in my 156 for an upgrade, I've got a nice Sony in the garage but it's got blue illumination, would prefer one in red to match the rest of the car.

I went with a Blaupunkt MP74 it is silver fronted with variable colour illumination so it matches the rest of the dash.

I didn't need to change things like BOSE switching wire on Blaupunkt as they are same as factory.

No big mechanical fixes needed, but the minor bits added up in te and money.

Yeah the little things soon add up, did you do the work yourself or pay someone. If you can do it yourself probably saves alot of money. I was replacing one of my fog lights on the 156 this morning, the lense got broken. Still cost £20 for a second hand genuine carello replacement by the time you add postage and packaging but a garage would probably charge half an hour even though it's only 6 screws and a plug.

I had to get a bodyshop to do the rust repairs but I have done everything else.

Forgot I also changed the thermostat and coolant as well.
