thanking you in advance i need to have this answer preferably before i leave the office and go pick up a windscreen.

went to check out the cars' stuff as paint job is nearing completion andfound my SECOND windscreen broken, must have reversed another car too close  the 1st one i broke whilst extracting

so .. seems i found one but its from a Series II Sud late 70's, mins is a 1982 model.

mine is tinted greenish, were they all ? or would this be 'clear' ?

and just just to be 100% sure is it exactly of the same dimensions ?

many thanks ;)

As far as I know there are 3 types off windows, they are all in different dimensions for every series off the Alfasud.
Thing is that I have a S 3 window but need a S2.
I also have a S 1 window which is even larger.

I'm sure S2 & S3 screens are the same.
The S2 screen from my racecar ended up in a S3.
It may just be that you are fine as long as you use the correct seal for that screen.

They all fit ,because all Suds are the same except the seals are different.
To be sure I just fitted a S1 windscreen in a S2 1 minute ago.
So when you use a all rubber S3 seal sure it fits.

i have no idea Kev but (sadly for us) quite a lot of British coming over, buying our old cars (mostly Escorts Mk1 / Anglias / Triumphs and other british favorites) and shipping them to UK ... the amount of classics per head here is quite impressive.
