Who has experience with the diagnostic software Alfadiag in combination with the USB ISO OBD-II / VAGCOM / AlfaDiag KKL Interface used in a 1998 GTV 2.0 V6 TB ?

Good or bad, please share your experiences with me.

Lol just found this on sports alfa:

Hi XXXXXX,

Thank you for your question. At the moment the AlfaDiag software supports
the ME2.1 ecu which is for the 2.5 V6. This is the same ecu that is in the
GTV 2.0 V6 turbo. But unfortunately there is a slight difference in the ECU
on the 2.0 V6 turbo software that makes AlfaDiag only 99.9% compatible with
that Ecu. The difference is in the airflow meter temperature and engine
temperature conversion factors are slightly different every thing else is
exactly the same. Unfortunately I am in the middle of a release cycle so I
cannot make the required adjustments to the software to support the ME2.1
turbo at the moment. The changes are minimal.

If you are happy to use the software with this slight problem I will resolve
this issue for you in the near future, in the next scheduled release. I
cannot give you an exact date when I will resolve this issue as I am in the
middle of adding dyno and performance measurement support and support for
the ME3.1 ecu to AlfaDiag but, I will guarantee that I will resolve the
issue, if you are happy to use the software as is.

Rgds

Derek

I think the V6tb is likely to be like ours - not ODB11 but using the same plug to fool the un-initiated!?!?

Our TB's dont have the same plug on it though, and the interfaces (three of them) are dotted about the car, and they are 3 pin not 12/24
