Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone here has ever used Alfacraft based in mortlake sw14 ? Just bought a GTV and want it servicing / cambelt changing!

Says on their website (which looks fairly new) Alfacraft London that they're specialists so im sure someone on here might have used them ??

thanks!

Sorry mate, I was hoping to hear an answer for this too, as I used to live in that very road and still live close to Mortlake.

I had some major work to do in February, I ended up going to Alfaman at Rayner's Lane in the end. They seem to really know their stuff and are very thorough, and a lot more people seemed to have experience with them. That said, that work did end up costing me a fortune - if there's something wrong with your car that you don't know about yet, they will spot it and they will want to fix it.

Maybe give Alfaman a call and see what he quotes you for (try and get him to do a verbal itemisation as part of the quote) then call Alfacraft and see if they can do the same. Compare the two - if Alfacraft remember to reel off the usual Alfa extras (variator, oil seal, tensioner etc) then I expect they've done plenty before. If they don't quote the same stuff as Alfaman, you'll have a second option to consider?

Hi
After hearing about AlfaCraft in this thread I gave them a call yesterday as car was in Limp mode so didn't want to drive too far.
I was impressed, Phil was able to look at it around 9pm as I needed to get the train home then drive to him. Sorted out the problem and looked at another niggle, fair price, nice guy, owns a range of Alfas and we talked GTV for a while. Will go back again and for the up coming service.
