Am nearing completion of a 2 year restoration of a 1978 Spider 105 and luckily missing just a few parts. At the top of the list is the trapezoidal shaped Aluminium (or is it SS?) pressing that surrounds the gear shift gaiter on the central console. Have tried just about all the spare parts suppliers I know of, but no luck so far. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I might locate one?

alfa guy in Austria has a couple....he advertises it for spider 86-93, but I do not think it has changed since the 70's spiders.
It is sort of a yellow zinc plated metal iirc.

your nice console will have to come out again, I believe to fit it! To fit the leather gaiter to it you need some of those really sharp pronged clips, that draw blood;)

Many thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, the GTV pressing is the wrong shape, so will keep searching!:headache:

I have just noticed a used surround on the eBay US site for $21 + postage which may be of interest to you
