yeah mervyn stewart is in belfast and hes the main dealer in NI, dunno about keeping the running costs down tho hes quite pricey. if its an independant you are looking for you could try google for someone but pretty much anywhere would be able to look after your motor, i dont know of any garages specialising in alfas. if you find somewhere sure post it up an ill give them a go aswell

so far ive had all my servicing done by Auto Q in ravenhill avenue because thats where i bought my car and they seem to have a large number of alfas moving through their hands and a very well equipped garage area. give them a bell an ask if they do services/work on cars they havent sold, i think they might as the guy running the garage Mark seems to operate independently from the sales ppl

028 9073 2193

not sure of teh cost but its defo the best equipped indy ive encountered in bel and they have a very good knowledge of alfas

Ok Dude,

I dig your style. Forget the Chinaman and get in touch with John Maxwell owner of EUROFIX (Finaghy). Independant auto mechanics who specialise in Alfas. I've had a sud, 75, 155 and now a 166. Eurofix have been looking after my cars for past 5 years or so. Give them a try. Eurofix 02890 622633.

Opposite story on Mervyn Stewart here, found them very competitive on price, high on service.

So good on price (cambelt change) that they were cheaper even than Eurofix and a good bit cheaper than my local garage here in Fermanagh.

Maybe just cos i was a new customer but still based on what i saw/paid first time i will be back.

I found Mervyn Stewart to be very expensive. I asked them to re-attach the handle to my glovebox during a service and they wanted £175 to replace the entire glovebox!!

I ended up drilling a little hole in the back of the glovebox and re-attaching it myself - it took me about 5 minutes!

To be fair the proper dealer fix for this is a new glovebox front assembly, a lot of customers wouldnt be happy with the drill approach.
