I don't know how well Alfa Romeos are selling in the UK at present but if they are doing poorly then their website is much to blame. Presently looking for a 147 2 litre Selespeed, I have been unable to obtain access to the website for three days and when I do the amount of personal information they need is vast. I have given up now and will try only indie. dealers.

Although I'm sure it's a useful marketing tool, I doubt the web site is the reason for poor sales. I wouldn't lay out thousands based on what I see on a company promotional site with no impartiality! It's far more likely to be reviews of the cars, reported reliability & quality, specification, performance, economy, emissions, costs and quality of the dealership. Alfa falls down in quite a few of those areas, if not all, unfortunately. Official Alfa dealers certainly don't have a reputation to be proud of! They probably sell most of their cars on the style and individuality rather than any of the logical reasons...;)
