Is the official reveal not today?

It looks pretty hot. QV version to clock 0-100 in 3.9s? :yikes:

Not surprising that the 0-100 time would be the same as the Giulia with basically the same chassis and same engine and probably not that much more weight. At those speeds, the higher air resistance isn't a big factor. The 100 to 160 or 160 to 200 time would definitely be slower.

It's kind of a joke that the Alfa USA has the whole thing about revealing the Stelvio on it, but it still doesn't have pricing for the Giulia, not even for the QF.

4WD off the line will play the biggest part in the 0-100kph time.

The Macan turbo is R1.4M which is its direct competition. And basically Guilia QV money. So I'm guessing pricing will be close to Guilia pricing, but need to account for 4WD thus R200k more?

But remember, the Maserati Levante starts at R1.65 million. That's the price for the 3.0 diesel, that does 0 to 100 in 6.9 seconds, with no options. Not quite in the same league as a Stelvio QF.

Shorter gearing sure assists with acceleration. It probably won't reach 300 though. But I suspect it weighs more than a Giulia too. No way it will be 1500kg.

I'm just glad that we will soon have more choice than a Mito / G or 4C

Soon it will be Mito / Guilietta / 4C / Guilia / Stilvio & hopefully more to come.
