Hi Guys,

The time has come to do some big jobs done on my 147 Lusso.

The car is leaking oil from in between the gearbox & engine so seals & clutch need replacing.

Also need a timing belt change done on the car since its hit 100k.

The jobs are quite big and because of their nature, in my opinion they need to be completed by an Alfa specialist.

Can anyone make any recommendations for an Alfa specialist in North London. I'm looking for someone I can trust who is reasonably priced.

Thanks in advance!

Not North London but reachable via M25.

Day and Whites at Brands Hatch.

If you do have the oil leak looked at get the balance shaft seals done too. Specify the Lancia versions as they are better quality.

Autolusso got a good reputation, not had work on car done there yet but have had parts off them and my injectors tested by Ned. They know their Alfa’s and have very reasonable pricing.

A vote for K&L in Golders Green here - Keith looks after my 156 GTA and my Spider. Very reasonable cost with excellent service. He races old Alfas, too.

Yes! I've used autolusso a few times, in fact i wont go anywhere else now. Had thousands of pounds work done, always done quick, top quality parts and a really reasonable price. In fact the last time i went in Ned saved me a fortune with his knowledge, he could easily of charged me hundreds but knew a simple tip to correct the problem and i was out in an hour. Not many garages will do that for sure! 100% recommend.

Same here, I live in East London and I was happy to take my Fiat to Feli when they were based in Chadwell Heath. Now they moved to Basildon but I still don't mind making that 20+ mile trip. My GT was basically resurrected by them (gearbox rebuild and a lot more) so I cannot be thankful enough for that.

A Quick update. I ended up dropping the car off @ Auto Lusso back in April. Had the Oil Seals & Clutch replaced + the timing belt done. They had the car for 2 weeks. I confirm that they know all there is to know about Alfa's and was very impressed with the quality of work. Havn't seen any oil leakage since I got the car back (touch wood)

Just wanted to say thanks to all the guys who made recommendations. Your help was much appreciated!
