Hi All,
strange title you may think to what i'm going to message in this forum.

On the 24th Aug 2011 around 14:00 to 18:00 in Termoli CB Italy i had my black Alfa 159 parked in a parking bay on the beach Lido Alcione Bar right opposite Hotel Modena Via Cristoforo Colombo/Via Del Mare Termoli CB Italy 86039. To find when i returned from the beach to have my car keyed on both sides from the front to the rear i was absolutely devasted and angry! To know some 1 for no reason saw my car and decided to key both sides of my Alfa! was it because it had foreign plates? (English numberplates) was it because they were jealous to see my Alfa shining in the sun with no scratches so they decided to mark it! so many reasons but no answers WHAT sort of person could do to that to a car to someone's property to someone who works hard through the year to go on a holiday with his family, and have this done to them for no apparent reason!

I'm writing on this forum and i know this is a long shot if any 1 seen any 1 around those times mentioned above I will reward them well, any information i would be grateful to track down this or these animals, who dont have no heart no sense, and stop these vandals to do more damage to other peoples car or property!
Many Thanks.

I'm gutted for you. There are a lot of senseless thugs on the planet.

This doesn't help you I know but it was quite likely to be the British number plates did it. In Chamonix, where I spend much time, the local scum often break the rear windows of British cars.

You have to rise above it. They are scum.

Sorry to hear that mate. Unfortunately, I think Michaelb is spot on: it was the English plates that done it. I remember right from when I was a kid that my dad would always put the "I" sticker or Italian flag as the English had such a poor reputation abroad - nobody liked them! And I have to say, I still see it today. I came bac to my 156 and had "Inglish Animals" traced in the dust on the back of the car; and I saw some teenagers just a few days ago looking round my car and muttering about English hooligans - then they saw my Italian flag attached on the back and they backed off, "Va be, ma 'sti qua sono italiani". Might be safer sticking one on if you're Italian?

Think the legacy of English hooligans still strong abroad - but not excusing the actions.

Random vandalism, parking in some locals favourite spot, who knows.

It happens too much in too many places now.

I doubt it's an anti GB thing though.

I did think that, i may have parked in some idiots spot, but i took my Alfa to get washed, and the owner of the car wash when we spoke about what had happened, he shown me his black new merc which had been keyed in a few places, he said it was pure jealousy, and spite.

It saddens me to see that written yet again... every country has its hooligans yet the english somehow have been branded.. in italy I would say the ultra`s make any english hooligans look like rank amateurs yet ... no one speaks of italian hooligans.. :(

Im Italian, it has nothing to do with hoolligans, its just the car had foreign plates. The area where it was parked was a purpose built and new parking area. All bays were filled. No GB sticker.

I was going to say that maybe you shouldve asked around if anyone saw anything?

Back luck on the vandalism. Really unfortunate they chose your car to vent their petty jealously and moronic behaviour.

I drove to Italy in the summer, had nothing but smiles and respect from the people I met out there, certainly didn't have any thought of an anti-GB ethos.

It's easy for lowlifes in the UK to get hold of passports, social security handouts
and cheap credit to go on holiday with, perhaps?

just really unlucky.Sorry to hear about the vandalism. We drove to Italy recently ,but we took the Multipla which already has some damage from the UK. Must admit to feeling aware of the "GB" on the plates being looked at abroad .

It has nothing to do with being ENGLISH, it's just pure jealousy and spite, these senseless idiots will hit any car, they even do there own, 2 Italian guys i met the day after at the car wash had there cars done in the past. The Owner of the car wash shown me his brand new Black Merc sport with key marks on the bonnet and the trunk of the car and 2 on the rear wings. Due to being shiny black and new looking!
