I have just checked my 2005 147 on the vosa website and it is subject to 3 recalls, the car was bought second hand and so I don't know if the recalls work has been done, I doubt it anyway as the clutch recall work was not done as the car left me stranded.

The Alfa recall system seems to be chaotic, Alfa UK claim that they don't have info on which cars had the recall work done, so it is up to me to contact the garages on the service book to ask it it has been done!

Anyone had any luck with this process?

I took my 147 to an Alfa Dealer recently to look at the stereo, as it was the first time they had the car in he checked out all the information available and he said that all the recall jobs had been done so there must be a way for them to check.

Yep, it's easy, they put your reg number into their computer and computer says yes, or computer says no........................

Just email Jason at Donalds your reg, he'll check for you, he did mine and found that it had been recalled for a clutch pedal/mechanism change.

No doubt he'll have 5 million PMs in the morning.
