Sadly to say but I am selling my QV that is only 2 months old. 1045km on the clock. There is alot of extra's on the car. There is no finance on the car. Bought it at Arnold Chatz.
I thought I put it here on the forum because I spoke to the salesman at Arnold and that is not really an option.

My contactnumber is 0834429020

Why you selling it so quickly?
A few things that does not make me satisfied. I have done just over 1000km now, and I tried for the first time the dynamic setting. Throttle responds is to sensitive. You just can't control it properly. For me the car has to much of a diesel character. It is of no use to go over 5000 rpm.
Power drops dramatic once you go over 5000rpm. I did not try this but I got the info from a Dutch tuning company that mainly do Alfa and Fiat.
For me, the seats are the worst part! They just don't belong in a 173kw car. No side support whatsoever. Even the Mito has better support. They are just to basic. Personally, it just does not deserves the QV badge. And if you come from a Alfa GT, then you will know what I mean.
I don't drive it to work. Because the car is just to beautiful and you just don't want anything to happen. I work in Doornfontein. So I am every day on the N1.
Another thing is power. I just want something with more power. It does not feel like 173kw to me.
I'm looking at 365.000 for the car. Payed 413.000 for this beauty.

Few comments....

The power.. Yes it has 173kw, but after reading endless number of reviews I opted for the MA as all the reviewers picked it as the better value for money and the feeling of the nippier car.

Seats? You have the leather seats with red stitching? Yes its not the GT's seats or Alfa seats of old but its definitely not the worst seats in the world!

As for Dynamic, trust me you get use to controlling it.. At the start it was to "snatchy" and the car just shot forward to quickly but now its like driving it in normal. You get used to it.

As for the 8C paint... I would not like to drive within a 50m radius of another car if I had that colour. Far to pretty to have it stone chipped.

Yes, I have the Bose sound. Dark turbine wheels, folding mirrors, sport suspension, kick plates, parking sensors,
Bi-xenon lights, the Tom Tom, canelloni seats with red stitching, visibility pack.

Correct me if I am wrong, but at 1000km the car will still be running in a "safe" mode, Does it not only "unlock" ?

Don't let it go so easily.
You will get used to the seats...I mean, remember the crap we sat on 15 years ago?

Maybe there is some truth in the car being in safe mode. I think it possible as today's cars can be programmed to do many things.

If you are worried about the car getting damaged, do the same as I have.
Buy a daily car for under R20k, use that in your travels in peak hour. The car will be old, smelly, crooked and ugly, but you won't worry about it.

Then, for example, come every second Friday, you turn the key to a super engineered, multi valved, passion spirited italian engine, draped in a stunning red silk dress with legs to die for!!
And then you give all the Bmw's & Golfies kak!

Don't throw your moolas away! Or if you must, could your arm reach Nelspruit? :D

i came from a 3.2 and yes there is some getting used to but after 200 km the car is far better than a GT. in handling and power. you can throw it around far better than the GT with almost a rear wheel drive feel in a corner. no torque steer well not standard. Witht he powerjet there is a little but not much. I would seriously keep it as you will be hard pressed to find something for that money

No thanks. Boring car. And hardly space inside plus it's only a 2 doors. I replaced the GT for a 4 door because of the baby we have. Anyone experienced that the seatbelts are to short to get them around the babyseat? All drive the 4X4 for a wile and wait for the Giulieta GTA to come.
