Can anyone let me know where I can find the power steering fluid reservoir on an Alfa Mito 1.4 TB MultiAir?

No worries. :)

Most modern cars have moved to electric motor steering now, as there is less load on the engine and that helps fuel economy.

Sadly, the Mito does not have proper hydraulic power steering but instead it has a totally rubbish electric system where the steering wheel provides a very rough idea as to what is happening to the front wheels. Alfa, like a lot of manufacturers have gone to this type of steering system because it is much easier to "engineer" and is cheaper. Like most things in life though you get what you pay for and a cheap system means an inferior system!

Have you disconnected the battery or had the battery changed recently?

The Giulietta has a twin-pinion electric steering system instead of the basic system the Mito shares with the Corsa and Grande Punto. The twin-pinion allows feedback that recognises when the car just needs to go in a straight line instead of it always steering left or right.
