An eBay seller has 10x genuine keys for 156, the blade also fits Spider & GTV and I’ve also posted in that forum

I assume after cutting they can be programmed to the immobiliser using the brown master key - can anyone confirm that these keys can be programmed using this method?
If I can get others to commit to buy 1 or 2 or more from me for cost price, free postage to UK, then I’ll buy the 10

156 never had a brown master key ... not in UK. I think they are different to GTV and the Spider. You programme them using a 156-compatible diagnostic system ...

Pretty much sums up ebay ...

Gazza, is this possible through the publicly available Alfadiag or is something else needed?

Sorry guys, my bad!

The ad says it’s a GT15R blade which I know fits the 916 GTV & Spider, which has the brown master keys

GT15R blade should fit early 156. But the stamping on the blade also indicates the chip is meant for old CODE system. 156 uses CODE2 or CODE3.
So you can cut the key but probably not program it for 156.
