I was on pistonheads the other day and counted 23 Alfa GTA's for sale either the 156 or the 147.

And about 60 % of the ads said 'rare car'

As an aside, wow are people trying to off load them puppies!

Mine is one of those "rare" cars, but unless I get someone interested I'm likely to be keeping it for the time being. Buyer's market for GTAs at the moment...

Less than 400 147 GTAs registered in the UK.....sounds pretty rare to me:thumbs:

Lots of people are selling because of the high running costs:(

The cars are indeed quite rare in terms of production numbers but there's plenty for sale - it always makes me smile when the sellers push this! One says "move quick, ultra rare" and then the ad comes up surrounded by better value cars.....

Nigel

Seems longer than a year somehow!

I really need to use mine more.....I will cover more miles to and from the Bristol lunch meet on Sunday than I've covered this year so far:eek:

As I have said before, the only reason mines for sale is because I'm jobless, and after next months mortgage I'm in trouble...
Mate, ring your mortgage provider and tell them you have no job currently and ask them if it is possible to freeze the payments for a term, they should allow you to do this and then you have more money to play with whilst looking for work.
