Hello all

My car has had a side impact (driver's side).

I have sourced a new upper seat airbag and curtain airbag, these are the only two which have deployed.

I know the module requires sending off to be reset, but is there individual modules or just one main one?

And, is there individual sensors per airbag or is this incorporated into the airbag?

Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm not 100% sure on this, but there is one airbag ecu, in the dash area that sets the airbags off, you need to get this reset. I have heard alot of people say that you need to code the new bags to the ecu, but as you can send it off to be done i dont think this is the case. There is a place on the net that charges 55 quid including return shipping. But be careful as some places will try and charge 200 quid plus.

Yeah, airbagreset.com will do it for £48. It's a company based in Halifax.

So hopefully this will resolve the ECU, and then need to source some new sensors which are located in the A & B pillars.

Just bought one of them workshop manuals off eBay, very good Reading so far!!
