Hi, I bought a crash damaged Alfa Gt 2007 and fixed it up. There's a thin ( about 4mm) long shiny black pipe on the right side of the engine running from the top down to the area near the air filter housing. I don't know where it needs to be plugged in to. It was damaged in the accident and is loose at this end. Can anyone help? A diagram or advice would be great. I'm also getting the motor control earning and its for high turbo pressure. I'm hoping they are linked. Its done 30K

It is the VGT mechanism operating vacuum pipe which needs connecting to your turbo via rubber vacuum pipes. There are loads of threads on this very subject. Also the reason why your MCSF light is on.
