Hello,

Hoping someone can help me!

The other day when i went to drive I noticed my clutch had little to no bite I struggled to get it into gear also so I didn't drive it just in case.

My other half had taken bits of the engine and had a look at the slave cylinder and can't see any leaks there, he's also looked at the master cylinder and again no signs of any leaks.

I have bought both parts to replace but struggling on how to replace the master? And to be honest I'm not sure if both needs replacing or just one?

Any help would be much appreciated

Had a similar problem. Turned out to be the clutch release bearing.

Had the same thing. Mechanic first topped up the brake and clutch oil, didnt help, and then replaced the master cylinder and it fixed it.

When the car heats up to the operating temperature, it worked fine before replacing it. The only time it didnt want to go in gear (reverse especiallY) was when the car was cold.
