Hi,

I have bought an Alfa gt 1.9 jtdm 2005 car with 112k miles on it, I would like to have a Fault code reader so i can know if there are any ecu faults recorded.

I previously had an Vauxhall corsa c and i had a device called Opcom which read fault codes and live data from the ecu.

Basically I was wondering if the same device exists for the alfa gt 1.9 jtd and if so if anyone has got it or used it could they let me know what i will need to buy,

Cheers in advance for any help or tips anyone can give me.

Richard :)

You need a laptop plus either AlfaDiag or FiatECUScan software (the latter is probably the better) and a cable.

There are lots of threads on this, just run a search on the forum using the software names.
