I sent off for a brochure as I'm getting a new Alfa soon (ordering tomorrow!) and they sent me Wessex garages details as being the nearest dealer. Tried calling and got no answer so have gone to lookers in Cardiff instead!

Mr G

Welcome to AO

I have a feeling Alfa were a little premature in giving out that info, i am led to believe Wessex isn't open yet but will be very soon ;)

If you are ordering from Lookers have a chat with a guy called Kelvin, tell him Tess and Jason said to look after you ;)

kelv may be working in the new bristol dealership if he gets the job, personally i wouldnt touch lookers with a barge pole as a company but kelv is a good salesman and is fanatical about alfas, may be worth waiting til wessex is open? see wat kelv says when you speak to him...:)

I've got Richard and Chris helping from fleet sales as it's a company car. Got a good discount so I'm happy so far!

Would be good to have a dealer here though, haven't heard the best things so far about simonstone for servicing. No idea if it's justified

I wouldn't touch Simonstone with a bargepole for servicing (far too expensive), I use them for warranty work only. Besides they sell Hyundais :p (and Fiats). But I agree it would be nice to have a proper Alfa dealership in the the Bristol area.
