Hi all hope you can help on my little headlight problem in my Alfa 159 dipped light nearside. The light stopped working recently.I purchased a new set and fitted, but but no success, still did not work. I checked the fuses within the drivers side fuse box swapped them over and again no success??? Would it be The relay? She is a 2008 159 1.9 JTDM 16V

Thanks Colin

This might sound stupid but I have done exactly this same thing myself so please bear with me.

Are you sure you are changing the correct bulb?

The dipped beam are H7 bulbs in the outer lenses,

Front sides are W5W in the middle lenses (with indicator bulbs)

Full beam are also H7 in the inside (closest to the centreline of the car)

It took me ages to figure this out when both my sidelights failed before I got round to changing them.

Axe.

Hi Axe, thanks for the reply,it is the correct bulbs.I swapped them over from near it offside and the bulb that I thought was needing replaced worked within the offside unit! I have tried swapping over the fuses and looked at the rekay and still no success???
