Loving the new Alfa. JTDM 2.0 16v TI 170bhp '10 plate.

Hating Blue&Me!

Upgraded to v5.6 but still no iphone4s/iphone4/iPod 2nd Gen/old 30Gb ipod connetivity using media player.

Also I bought an A2DP BT reciever:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151256271521 but this isn't recognised as source for streaming from the iphone4s.

Q1)
Are there further upgrades to B&M that will help this?

Q2)
a) I can either get the xcarlink (£78) or the xcarlink with BT Module (+£40) for proper A2DP streaming. (A2DP but not sure about steering wheel controls?)

OR

b) I can get the B&M module for iphone compatibility (~£60) which means I can do direct cabled connection (not ideal) but have a chance of the A2DP module work.. (unlikely?), but have Steering controls work?

Would be nice to try before I buy..

OR

c) Are there 3.5 input sockets at the back of the standard HU I can make use of?
(No streaming, no steering controls)

I guess you get what you pay for!

Any advice appreciated please?

thanks,
FE

B&M is an "end-of-life" system so no updates/upgrades are going to be forthcoming.

You need the Fiat B&M adapter for USB connectivity:
Buy Genuine Blue&Me iPod iPhone Adaptor | Blue And Me Adaptor

Fiat issued this to deal with iPhone/Pod incompatibilities with USB connections and it does work.

There is no A2DP support with B&M and no easy/cheap way to add it.
