Wanted a sump for alfa 156 2.5 v6 model,

Does anyone has one lying around?

Got myself a v6 but she wont be moving till i git the sump sorted,was a bit disapointing but what can u do

that engine is long gone,

not sure how much damage is done to it,it will be coming of tomorrow so fingers crossed it wont be that bad

We might have a sump off a 166 but not sure if it is needed or not.

isnt the 166 sump bigger than the 156? i think they may also be a bit different in shape. Prob wrong though..

I have no clue if it's different I know you can swap the 3l engines out of the 166 into the 156 not a bother and don't have change the sump at all.

to swap the engines over you would just need to replace the ECU and looms right?

Nothing needs to be done as far as I am aware. I think the Power pump needs to be changed but that be it.

they are all the same as i just looked up in parts catalog and all the part numbers are the same

not a huge fan of the skirts.. but apart from that its a very discreet v6, and i like that :thumbs: congrats on it. get a good deal on it? these v6s are popping up everywhere!

if you can't get one I have a V6 156 here with 158k miles on its engine. I'll be removing that engine in a few weeks. If you can wait that long you can have it for a few quid. Despite the high mileage this car starts & drives like a rocket.

You might be able to weld it unless its totally in pieces....usually a nice hole in the alloy is all you get which can be welded.....i used to have a bravo and even had the sump batched in place
