Hi there

story so far i have a alfa 156 just changed the ecu/code box/ transponder
i now have the car starting sometimes and then it will just cut out and then when it cuts out it wont start !!

Now when i get it started and try and rev or move the car with acceleration the injector light comes up !!!

And also i can leave it ticking over and then it would just cut out !!!!

It's down at the bottom of the engine, under the starter motor. They're about £20-£25, but before you start spending money on different sensors, it'd be best to get the fault code read to confirm what the issue is.

You can do it yourself if you have an interface lead and either AlfaDiag or Unidiag...

I had a problem with my 166, probably caused by a flat battery, I jumped it from my 146 and then had no throttle and a very lumpy idle, did a throttle reset and everything was fine might be worth a try if you haven't already.
