i have a alfa 156 t-spark i can start the car and rev it but when i try to pull off the engine cuts out i have tried the crank sensor and air flow meter but it still does it thanks andy

dis-connect the air flow meter, located between the engine & battery, it may idle badly but should drive better, if it does then buy a new BOSCH unit.

yes it was bosh, no i dont have any error lights or codes, havent checked the pipe what am i looking for a blockage

The corrugated pipe going from the airflow meter to the intake plenum splits in the indentations, allowing air in after the sensor, usually underneath where you can't see it.

hi just looked at the pipe and it has no holes or splits i went down there to have a look today as it havent been started in 3 months managed to get it to start once and run it for around 10 mins then it died and would not start again even when let to cool for a hour any clue what mty problem is
