Hello fellow alfa enthusiasts, i'll get the hang of using this site eventually. I have a problem with my blaupunkt cd autochanger with built in phone, fitted to my (2005) 156 sportwagon. When i switch the unit on a the message on the display reads 'no radio phone only' , followed by 'high temperature'. Non of the cd/radio functions work.
I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and what is the most cost effective solution.
Any help and advice will be appreciated
regards Tony

any clues as to why this happened? was it working perfectly beforehand?

a simple thing to do is to first ensure the fuses are ok. though even if they look ok, could be worth replacing them anyway. there will be one in the car's fusebox under the steering wheel, but probably also one stuck into the back of the headunit; which means you have to remove it from the dash.

if you have a multimeter, also check that there is +12V at the powerwires/plug connecting to the back (as opposed to less than +12V which suggests a power supply issue).

:)
