Hello,

this morning, while i was going with my 156 (2006 distinctive) i noticed a sound (an annoying slight noise) that coming from engine. i thought that sound comes from air conditioner and i switched off the ac but it kept on going... after then i realised that if i push the clutch pedal when i drive that annoying sound disappears.

can anyone make a comment?

Philjay50 thank you. I am going to take my car in for repair today. but 2 questions on my mind and one of them is what could happen if i keep driving that way? And another question is that could be related to an engine problem?

It's not a good thing but I have had cars with noisy thrust bearings running for years, the tip in my opinion is not to ride the clutch. As for related engine problems, no I think highly unlikely.

Not sure?.....may have to take to a dealer of Specialized company to egt them to check over.....just to be safe?

hello again, my problem solved. It seems that the problem stems from right rear wheel bearing. They started to disintegrate. They will be changed. Thanks for your valuable comments again.
