Greetings friends !

Right now i am collecting some parts for my 156 1.8 Twinspark engine.
My plan is to build a turbo upon this engine. I already have a turbo and manifold from an alfa 156 jtd 16v. I would like to have (if there is chance) some small advice on downpipe/the rest of the exhaust. What would be the easy solution for the downpipe? Use original downpipe from jtd 16v, mount it to turbo and cut/weld it on the original twinspark-downpipe?
Or do you say, get rid of the everything and cut/modify the original (twinspark)manifold and try to weld the turbo directly on that?

I hope you can advice me
Thanks in advance

Gertie, my hero!

Thanks for your reply:bow:

I know that the turbo which i have is small, but for me is just perfect!
I am not planning to make the car a racemonster, plan is to make a nice project.
Interesting topic btw, i really like your project.
I have welding machine (mig/mag) which i havent touched in years, so i think i am gonna pull it out this week. :rotate:
