Hi, i have just bought black speedlines for my 155. The alloys wont fit on the front due to the wheel stuck on the caliper. It needs wheel spacers but what size should i get? 15mm? would i need longer bolts? Is it save to drive everyday with the spacers?
That's strange, as the 155 had black Speedlines fitted when it left the factory.. Dunno if your '55 is a v6 - that had slightly bigger discs.
You will need longer bolts.
The spacers should have a spigot ring (or machined collar) on them that's the right size for the centre bore of the wheels. Simlarly they should be the right size for the axle stub that pokes out through the brake disc.
Then they'll be safe for daily use.
15mm sounds a lot though...are you sure that's what it would take to fit the wheels? You want to use the thinnest spacers you can. The v6 came with 4mm spacers as standard - that thickness allowed the axle stub to fit directly into the wheel centre bore (though by 4mm less than otherwise, obviously) so did away with the need for a spigot ring.
