Hi

Maybe someone can give a few pointers, recently bought 2002 Alfa Lusso Selespeed. Love it.:inlove:
But last few Sundays, been out, and when slowing down gears went in to neutral. Then wouldnt select any gears except reverse, eventually after 20 30 minutes, finally got selection, The Garage ran a fault check on it came up with nothing. have to wait until it breaks completely.Uhgg!!
Works OK rest of the week by the way just Sundays it dont like.
Any ideas, Oil reservoir full,so dont think thats causing loss in pressure? think the selespeed pump might not be coming on. is there an electrical sensor somewhere?;)

you need to get the system checked for:

1. operating pressure [ 45bar to 55 bar ], anything less coudl mean defective accumulator, has a seperate p/n
2. relays [ at the front of the battery ] could be loose, faulty or have corroded conenctions / wires in its base
3. the brushes of the pump could be worn out
