No idea im in two minds. Either another alfa as it drove so nicely back home. Or something outrageous like an old porsche or a v6 or a subaru or an old fiat coupe.

So many good cars out there though.

Probably for around 600. But figured it's getting a bit creaky and ive had a good run with it. I really wanted to get it to 200k and no doubt I have enough parts and the engine was a good one to make it.

but I always said as soon as it starts to rust out that would be when I stopped.

Its a losing battle rust and hopefully the parts can recoup some of the cost and keep other cars on the road.

So in some ways it'll live on.

Others can have a few trick parts for a fraction of the cost. Soon as I get 600 total for it its going to alfa heaven.

Alfa ownership has been full od ups and downs. But the last two years the cars been great.

Can't ask for more really.

I just sold the wheels. They are now on a fiat van and look pretty swish.

Tricked out van too.

Apologies for late reply and thank you soooo much for everything. She drove beautifully on the new wheels much smoother ride and no further issues.

Can't thank you enough- the van looks so much better on the alloys and has transformed the ride no end, I even took the long way home to enjoy it.

Thank you again, I hope to deal again sometime.

Thats the message ive just had from him. Think it was a fiat ducato. Had to rebore the centre holes to take slightly thicker bolts. But more or less a straight swap and he even let me have his steel wheels so the alfa still rolls.

Looks like a tonka truck with huge steel wheels though. Looks like something out of mad max now. Ha.

Yeah they go in fine. Slightly different shape so the clips don't fit but I never had an issue.

If you're a bit ocd it can be odd getting into a 147 when the mats say 156.

The rears are the same.
