hi all,

I have an unusual issue with my 2003 147. The car starts up as normal but on the second restart I will get the following error message " ASR bulb anomaly" and the warning triangle lights up this will stay on regardless.Once the car is turned off and left for a few hours the error will clear but the cycle continues on the next restart.

pressing the ASR button shows the ASR on and off as expected on the screen. I ran the Multiecuscan software and got the following error:

Dashboard
Instrument Panel Mannesman VDO
ISO Code: 32 83 08 80 92
Errors found:
B1007 - Traction Control warning light (TCS)

Any idea's

regards

I think it is a switch issue- high resistance perhaps.

I have a strange issue on my 156. Rear fog lamps often come on when headlamps are switched on. Either I have an iffy switch or the wiring at the boot hinge is giving problems.

If you are confident, take the switch apart to clean it. If not, try a new one but ensure all fuses and relays feeding the system are clean. Ditto, distribution board on battery positive terminal.
