My alarm keeps going off in windy weather and annoying the neighbours, i bought my 2001spider in 2005 and it had no key to switch the alarm off, any suggestions where i could get one to fit please

And also i need two of the remote controllers which have given up the ghost, the little round grey ones?

Any info. would be much appreciated as im getting "Agatha" done up..............new hood and all..............:lol:

My advice would be to get a complete new alarm system fitted. It costs approx £200 to £300 depending on what you want but you get new fobs of course and can also add features like remote boot opening.

Ensure the vents are closed inside the car when you park. With a phase 2, you may have to do that with the engine still running. That may help.

The other way is to disable the ultrasonic sensors. I'm not sure how you do that with your alarm ( a long press on the arming button? ), but if it's a M99 there should be an instruction book somewhere online.

thanks for your advice guys, ive ordered new fobs from ebay and an ***** mechanic just told me to keep the remote pressed in as suggestged here which should stop the alarm going off...............:thumbs:
