Hi have you inadvertantly deactivated the alarm system? maybe that might also turn off the beep sound. I think by pressing the lock/alarm set button and holding for 4-5 seconds arms and disarms the siren . I believe the instructions are in the handbook but i havent got one to hand at present.

Hi,the alarm is active and works fine when i close the door it locks and the lights flash once etc,i do wonder if there is a problem with the siren itself ??,i have recently change the boot wiring loom because the boot would not open with the key fob, I found some broken wires, Glen.

I would check if the alarm is still working, if so it's not really a problem, but i would like to know how it's done, mine's a bit annoying when i return from work at 3am and i know the neighbours have a little one.

You could try it via switching it on with the key fob, but then unlocking the car with the key and entering, i know i set mine off like that before.
