Have tracked down a bloody Irritating rattle to my airbox lid, one of the bolt holes has been snapped off!

Any idea where I could get a new (ish) one

Tried everywhere I could think of on the internet but still no luck and they cost a fortune from the dealers as you need the full airbox

Any ideas?

Also while looking i noticed the airbox hose has a very strange thing attached to the side of it, whats that for?

Probably a resonator chamber mate... all modern cars require them for noise abatement regulations:rolleyes:

If you are still having probs with the airbox bring it over and we can try and fix it together, there is a damn good tutorial on http://www.alfa156.net/ Look under the tips heading for "changing air filter with rusty bolts"
Chemical metal is a very good thing to use ... I live in Brandon, 2 miles from Durham City BTW

Try bells auto salvage at West Auckland, they always seem to have a few alfa's in:thumbs:
